Karina was born and raised in Denmark. She traveled to California, US in 1990 and lived here for 7 years until 1997 where she studied Business Administration at Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

In 2000 she met her English husband and moved to the UK. Karina qualified as a reflexology practitioner in 2005 from Central London College of Reflexology with Mike Keet in Covent Garden (http://maternity-reflexology.com/). She has attended many courses and qualifications including Fertility Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology and Baby and Toddler Reflexology with well known tutors such as Susanne Enzer (http://maternity-reflexology.com/), Jenny Lee (www.babyreflex.co.uk), and Dorthe Krogsgaard &  Peter Lund Frandsen (www.touchpoint.dk).
